What Is
Knee Arthroscopy?
Knee arthroscopy is the use of tiny incisions (5-10mm) to conduct repairs and reconstruction of torn ligaments, meniscus and cartilage injuries in the knee. Dr. Fitzpatrick received extensive training in residency taking care of complex knee injuries in the military and feels very comfortable conducting these surgeries using the most up-to-date techniques available. Before your visit, an MRI will be necessary to assess if you are a good candidate for an arthroscopic knee surgery to improve function and quality of life.
